Schubert – Ricky Lee Woods, age 63, of Joyner was called home on Tuesday, June 3, 2025.

Ricky was a lifelong resident of the Joyner Community and was loved by all. He was a loving father, partner, grandfather, and great grandfather.

Ricky is preceded in death by his parents Robert & Hester Woods and his grandparents Claude & Faye Woods and Wayne & Uvine Lowe Justice.

He leaves behind his daughter Jenna (Dammion) Teems; granddaughter Elenor Louise Teems of Atlanta, GA.; longtime partner Julia Chilton and family Christina (Douglas) Beason, Alli Laymance, Kohen Laymance, Wesley Smith, Rebecca Chilton, Jaxon Chilton, Averie Chilton, Sarah (Jake) Simpson, Lorelei Simpson, and Amelia Simpson.

The family will receive friends Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Beech Fork Holiness Church in the Joyner Community from 1:00-3:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 3:00 p.m. with Bro. Mike Nichols and Kevin Nichols officiating. Interment will follow in the Nichols Family Cemetery in Morgan County.
