RIVER WATCH GOLF COURSE SOLD, GOING PRIVATE

Dekalb County, TN-  The popular golf course located off Highway 70 between Sparta and Smithville has sold. River Watch Golf Club will now be called Honky Tonk National Golf Club.
Steve Smith, “The Honky Tonk Godfather”, and owner of Tootsies Orchid Lounge in Nashville and Fishlipz Resort at Pates Ford Marina in Smithville has purchased DeKalb County’s destination golf course.
Due to this change in ownership, they will be closed for improvements until May. Starting May 1st, tee times will be open to the public for 90 days. On Aug. 1st, they will become a Private Membership club.
