ROBERT E. PLATZ JR. age 83 of Crossville, TN passed away July 9, 2024. He was born December 5, 1940, in Willowby, OH the son of Robert E. Sr. and Dorothy Decker Platz. He was retired from Manchester Tank and was also a member of Bakers Crossroads Freewill Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife- Margaret Platz of Crossville, TN, son- Gary Platz and his wife Anna of Crossville, TN daughters- Tammy Phelps and her husband Mark of Canal Fulton. OH, Bonnie Allen of Bowling Green, KY and Kathy Keck and her husband Allen of Pikeville, TN, grandchildren- Carley Platz, Branydce Platz, Kiera Winton, Kolton Winton, Gary Platz, Heather Platz, Justin Phelps, Amanda Phelps, Billy Joe Phipps, Cherub Platz, Blaine Price and LaTasha Hawks and several great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Sunday July 14, 2024, from 1pm-2pm at Hood Funeral Home. Graveside Committal will immediately follow the visitation at Creston Cemetery.
