ROBERT F. CHRISTMAN, 79 of Crossville, passed away at home on July 14, 2024. Bob was born in Chicago, IL on January 14, 1945. He was a journey sheet metal worker and was of the Lutheran faith.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Judi Ann (Maxson) Christman. They married on May 14, 1967 when he returned home from Vietnam. They raised three sons; Robert M. (Lisa), Paul E. (Wendy) and Tom J. (Tara) all who live in the Chicago area. He was the loving grandfather of his four grandsons; Sam, Cooper, Henry and Ryan Christman. Bob is also survived by his sister- Joan Stoltz and many nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Paul H. and Irene (Lemke) Christman, brother- Paul C. Christman and sister- Jean Demel.

Bob was a hands-on Dad and coached the boys’ baseball teams and was also a Scout Master. Bob and Judi retired to Crossville in December of 2009. Bob was a city boy but wanted to retire in a rural area in beautiful Tennessee. His hobbies were model trains and building remote control airplanes, which he never flew.

Bob was a true patriot and loved his country. Rest in peace dear Bob. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
