A Memorial Service for Robert Lawrence Johnson (aka Cowboy Bob Johnson), age 78, of Crossville, TN will be held Sunday October 3, 2021, at11am CST at Meadow Park Lake in Crossville, TN. Pastor Alan Leitch, will officiate.

Bob was born in Chattanooga, TN to Lawrence Eugene Johnson and Mamie Mimbel Rogers Johnson. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Bonnie Boles.

Bob is survived by his Loving Wife, Sandra Kay Johnson of Crossville, TN, Sons, Robert (Bobby) Lawrence Johnson Jr. and his wife Marsha of Soddy Daisy, TN; Wally Johnson of TN and Jamie Johnson of TN, Daughters, Vicki Johnson and Kristine Lieker and her husband Doug of Harrison, TN, Sister, Patsy Jones and her husband Bill of Soddy Daisy, TN, Brother, Jim Boles and his wife Sumiko of GA, ten plus Grandchildren; two plus Great Grandchildren and many loving Nieces and Nephews.

Bob retired as an Engineer and Machinist. Bob loved his family. He was such a loving husband to Sandy and they enjoyed doing everything together. Bob enjoyed singing, songwriting, entertaining, part-time acting and was also an avid story teller and a friend to many. He performed in more than eight plays at the Cumberland County Playhouse and many local and surrounding area functions. If you knew Bob, you knew he was fun to be around, loved the outdoors,planting a garden and watching the deer and hummingbirds with his wife.
