ROLLER WINDOW SHADES RECALLED; STRANGULATION HAZARD

On March 27, 2025, LINKCOO Blackout Roller Window Shades were recalled due to strangulation and entanglement hazards posed by their long operating cords, which could lead to serious injury or death, particularly to children. This recall affects approximately 16,300 units sold exclusively on Amazon.com between December 2022 and September 2024 for $20 to $88. The shades, available in white, gray, and black, violate federal regulations for window coverings and labeling, ranging in size from 10 to 75 inches wide and 79 inches high, with “LINKCOO” printed on the label sticker.
Consumers are urged to immediately stop using the shades, cut the cord, and contact LINKCOO at [email protected] or http://recall-linkcoo.com/ for a free repair kit, including a replacement short operating cord and installation instructions. A photo of the cut cord must be sent to receive the remedy. No incidents or injuries have been reported. The product was manufactured in China by Wenzhou Lingtuo Shangmao Youxiangongsi, dba LINKCOO, and Amazon is notifying all known buyers directly. The recall number is 25-198.
