Ronnie Franklin Wright, 81
Ronnie Franklin Wright, age 81 of Harriman, TN passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at UT Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Ronnie was born in Oliver Springs, TN on September 22, 1944.
Ronnie was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church where he honorably served as a Deacon for 20+ years as well as assisted in Wednesday night youth giving them the “Wright Advice”. One of Ronnie’s projects that he worked on at the church was the Keychain Ministry. Ronnie carried his keychain along with his pocketknife everyday over the last several years. The Keychain ministry grew with the help of so many friends; there has been over 70,000 keychains given out locally and throughout other countries. Ronnie held such a burden for the lost souls in the world, praying that all would come to know Jesus.
Ronnie worked with laundry at K25 for a couple years then eventually transitioning to ORNL as a painter, then advancing to Painting Supervisor where he retired. Ronnie enjoyed most things outside whether it be fishing, hunting, woodworking, candle making, gardening, bird watching and dog lover and even coaching little league football. Above all, Ronnie’s passion was witnessing about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, proclaiming the name of Jesus and showing the true meaning of a Christian family man.
