RONNIE THOMAS REED age 75 of Crossville, TN passed away February 14, 2022. He was born April 4, 1946, in Crossville, TN the son of Lonzo and Hallie Reed. He was the owner and operator of Reed Trucking. Ronnie attended Gateway Baptist Church and had a tremendous love for the Lord. After Ronnie gave his life to Christ, he went to see his favorite spiritual teacher, Bro. Charles Stanley. It was during the time that he was not shaking hands or giving direct contact because of the flu. However, that very day Bro. Stanley went directly to Ronnie and shook his hand. The only hand he shook during that entire event.

He is survived by his son- Tommy Reed and his wife Ava (Anne) of Lakewood Ranch, FL, grandchildren- Braeden Thomas Reed, Taylor Peyton Reed and Thomas Eston Reed, and sisters- Brenda Stowers, Charlotte Jones, Kathy Pugh and Susie Dixon. He also leaves brothers- Larry Reed, Danny Reed, David Reed and Tim Cole and sister- Connie Dixon and a host of friends that will miss his smile and stubborn disposition. Everyone that knew and loved him, will always remember and smile about the fact that even though you could prove him wrong, in the end he could convince you, that he was always right.

In addition to his father and mother, he was preceded in death by his wife- Jodie Reed, son- Lane Reed, brother- Gary Reed and sister- Donna Sherrill.

Funeral services will be held Sunday February 20, 2022, at 3pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1pm-3pm at the funeral home Burial will be Green Acres Memory Gardens.
