Roxie Eva Amonett, age 87 of Creed Huddleston Lane in Byrdstown, passed away Wednesday, January 9 at Livingston Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be Sunday, January 13 at 2 p.m. at the Byrdstown First Baptist Church with burial to follow in Amonett Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 12, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Chapel. The body will lie in state at the Byrdstown First Baptist Church on Sunday, January 13, from 12 noon until the start of funeral services at 2 p.m. Mrs. Amonett is survived by her widower, Eugene Amonett of Byrdstown; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Paula Amonett of Byrdstown, and Trent and Maria Amonett of Pullman, Washington. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, her nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. Brown Funeral Chapel of Byrdstown, Tennessee, is in charge of arrangements.
