ROY E. BROWN age 100 of Crossville, TN passed away February 12, 2023. He was born December 24, 1922, in Crossville, TN, the son of Wilburn and Ida Kerley Brown. He retired after many years from the Vindale Corporation and later returned to work with Clayton Windows. He spent his retirement years working on lawnmowers and small engines, which was a hobby he truly enjoyed. He was a devoted Christian man who loved the Lord. He and his wife Wilma were members of Crossville Church of Christ.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 80 years, Wilma Brown of Crossville, TN, son- Boyd Brown and his wife Naomi of Crossville, TN, daughters- Charlotte Hennessee and her husband Dale, Linda Brown and Judy Smith and her husband Wayne all of Crossville, TN, sister- Rosalie Phifer of Murfreesboro, TN, twelve grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and daughter-in-law- Grace Brown.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son- Jerry Brown, brothers- Arnold Brown, Carl Brown, Martin Brown, and Glenn Brown, and sisters- Violet Kerley, Pauline Frady, and Lois Rogers.

A private graveside will be held at Big Lick Cemetery. A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date.
