Funeral services for Ruth A. Garner, age 93, of Burkesville, Kentucky, will be Wednesday, May 29, at 1 p.m. at Branham Grove Baptist Church, 3096 Modoc Road in Burkesville, with burial to follow in Branham Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends Tuesday, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home and Wednesday from 6 to 10:30 a.m. and from 11 am. to 1 p.m. Survivors include seven sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Linda Garner of Louisville, Kentucky, Glenn and Patricia Garner of Burkesville, Gene and Patty Garner of Bowling Green, Kentucky, David and JoAnne Garner of Burkesville, Gay and Karren Garner of Byrdstown, Tennessee, Jay and Sherry Garner of Albany, Kentucky, and Milie Jr. and Rita Garner of Burkesville; one sister-in-law, Marilyn Griffiths of Yuma, Arizona; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; 17 step-great-grandchildren; seven step-great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
