Ruth Douglas, age 98, of Crossville, TN, passed away at her home on May 1, 2024.

Mrs. Douglas was born on October 15, 1925, in Crossville, Tennessee, daughter of the late Woodson A Taylor and Callie Taylor.

Ruth was a homemaker and a life-long member of Oakhill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, William Douglas (Pam); grandchildren, Scott Douglas and Melissa Chittum; great grandchildren, Steven Douglas, Austin Yearwood and Ashley Yearwood; nephews, David Matlock and Michael Douglas; nieces, Wilma Raper, Shannon Bryant, and Betty Jo Burnett; special friend, Valorie Douglas; and caretakers, Pat Redwine, Eva Redwine, Dana Sharp, Judy Cumby and Louise Hodge.

In addition to her parents, Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Morris Douglas; sisters, Lena Ford, Amy Burnett, Wilma Taylor and Edna Carey.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 1:00 PM with burial to follow at Oakhill Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 11:00 to 1:00 PM prior to the service.
