Ruth Elizabeth Beason Marney, 90

Ruth Elizabeth Beason Marney age 90, went to sing in Heaven’s Choir to the Lord on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. She was a very active member of Tennessee Missionary Baptist Church for 79 years. She enjoyed singing and in her younger years traveled to many churches spreading God’s love through song with the last group being the Tennessee Gospel Four. She also enjoyed a lifetime of farming, fishing, an avid canner of food for her family from her garden and loved quilting. She even made over 500 quilts for the homeless. In addition, she was employed by Wampler’s Sausage Co. and Eblen’s Upholstery. She loved nothing more than serving Jesus and her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Bill and Dovie Beason,
Husband: Roy Marney,
In laws: John and Axie Marney,
Brothers: Billy and wife Mayme Beason, and Allen Beason,
Brother-in-law: Jim Limburg,
Nephew: Steve Beason.

She has left behind:
Sister: Elsie Limburg,
Sister-in-law: Linda Beason,
Son and wife: Mike and Kathy Marney,
Daughter and husband: Tammy and Danny Davis
Grandkids: Bryan Marney and Michelle Daughtery, Michael and McCauley Marney, Robert and Sara Davis, Danny R. and Becky Davis. Adam and Diana Miller, Valerie and Ivan McWhorter.
Great grandkids and families: Haley, Alex and Emory Butcher,
Hayden Marney, Chloe, Madison and Mya. Dani and River Miller, Available, Allie, Abigail McWhorter.
Avery, Ansley, Allie Davis and Caleb Marney.
Nieces and nephews: Ronnie and Barb Marney, Donnie and Tammy Marney, Betty Kat Radford, Keith and Darlene Limburg, Russ and Wanda Limburg, Teresa and Tommy Hill, Jerry, Judy, Patrick and Missy Beason.

A special thanks to a devoted friend Peggy Garrett and her friends from Baggett’s, Savid Salon and Hardee’s of Kingston.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Kyker Funeral Home of Kingston. Funeral 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 23, 2024 at Tennessee Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend B. B. Ratledge officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery. Kyker Funeral Home of Kingston is serving the Marney Family.
