Ruth Gearldine (Brown) Asberry, 88

Ruth Gearldine (Brown) Asberry was born October 26,1936 to Parley Brown and Ora Mae (Crabtree) Brown. She joined the Center Bell Baptist Church at a very young, later in life she taught Sunday School at that same church. She married Perry Asberry in 1953 and were married 64 years before his death in 2018. Mom spent many years in the sewing factories in Fentress County and enjoyed all the special friends she met along the way. To know Ruth was to love her. She loved her friends and family so very much it showed in everything she did.
Funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Mundy Funeral Home in Jamestown. Burial will follow in the Range Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until time of the service at 2 pm

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Children’s Center of the Upper Cumberland or the Alzheimer’s Association. Donations may be left at Mundy Funeral Home in Jamestown
