Ruth Witmer, age 88 of Cookeville, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026 at her home.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 10:00 am at the Mt. Zion Mennonite Church in Deer Lodge. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Mennonite Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and again from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Mt. Zion Mennonite Church in Deer Lodge.

Children, Allen Witmer and wife Marlene
Sarah Myers and husband Jesse
Barbara Witmer
Susan Troyer and husband Paul
20 Grandchildren
6 Great Grandchildren
Ruth was the oldest of 12 Children

She is preceded in death by her:

Mother, Lizzy (Burkholder) Martin
