Sally Jo Settles age 79 of Harriman, passed away Monday, December 1, 2025.
Sally’s days were filled with the activities she loved most playing cards, creating beautiful baskets and crafts, and relaxing in the pool. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her beloved family. Sally was a member of the Eastern Star and Caney Ford Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her parents, Hobart “Hobey” and Mary Katherine White Thomas.
Survived by her husband of 57 years, James Douglas “Doug” Settles; son, James Douglas “Jay” Settles (Erica); grandson Evan Settles; sisters, Dr. Hobie Etta Feagai (Ray) and Cheryl Ann Park (Doug); brothers, James P. Thomas (Diane) and John D. Thomas (Missy); many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
