Sandra “Gail” Sexton, age 79, of Crossville, TN, passed away at her home on September 1, 2026.

Mrs. Sexton was born on July 4, 1947, in Pleasant Hill, TN, daughter of the late Ivan Mooneyham and Cordiabelle (Evans) Mooneyham.

Gail was a Medical Transcriptionist at Cumberland Medical Center and Physicians Associates.

She is survived by her daughter, Laura Winningham (Mike); son, Keith Woody (Angie); stepchildren, James Richard Sexton and Michelle Miller; grandchildren, Morgan Turner, Madison Sietsema, Samantha Miller, Hailey Stephens, Courtney Green, and Miranda Winningham; great grandchildren, Gentry Turner, Tate Turner, Ty Turner, Raigen Sietsema, Zoey Sietsema, Drew Miller, and Macie Miller; and sisters, Sharon Bell (Chris) and Jean Cope (Edwin); and brother-in-law, Jerry Dyer.

In addition to her parents, Gail is preceded in death by her husband, James Sexton; and sisters, Jamie Sidwell and Carol Dyer.

Funeral Service will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Friday, September 4, 2026, at 1:00 PM with burial to follow at Crossville City Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 11:00 to 1:00 PM prior to the service.
