Friends and coworkers of Sami Lewis are sponsoring a benefit cookout this Saturday, May 4, at the TAD Center. Sami is battling colon cancer and her friends and colleagues are rallying around to raise money for her treatment and expenses.

The event begins at 11 and runs ’til 6 p.m. They’ll be grilling hamburgers and hot dogs with all the fixin’s. A lunch plate – consisting of one hamburger or two hot dogs, beans, chips, dessert and a soft drink – is only $8.

Plus, there’ll be raffle items and a cake walk.
