SEARCH CONTINUES FOR MISSING KNOX COUNTY MAN WITH DEMENTIA

The search for a missing Knox County man with dementia has entered its second week.

Officers say 77-year-old Jackie Harrison was separated from his family at the Walmart in Halls on November 17, 2019. He has several health issues, including dementia, which require medication.

Harrison was last seen on video at the gas pumps in the Walmart parking lot walking toward Norris Freeway. He was last seen wearing jeans, a polo shirt, a brown jacket and possibly a hat with a Broncos emblem on it.

Volunteers have been looking for traces of Harrison in neighborhoods, nearby businesses and wooded areas.

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is asking residents in the area to check their barns, outbuildings or creeks. Also to monitor security cameras, and go back to check the footage of the night Harrison went missing

Authorities also request that you share the picture of Harrison with your friends and neighbors.
