Putnam County – (Update:  As of 10:00 AM crews have both Eastbound lanes open)

At 4 AM Monday, a dual trailer semi experienced a rollover that shut down Eastbound I-40 for several hours. First Responders and emergency crews arrived at mile marker 288.5 and due to the contents of the trailers, the cleanup caused an extended delay in reopening all lanes. No word has been given on the condition of the driver at this time.
