Shari M. Norris, age 84, of Crossville, passed away on February 22, 2024. She was born September 23, 1939, in Cleburne, Texas, the daughter of Lawrence and Willie Gray Gold. She retired after many years as an administrative assistant before moving to Tennessee. She and her husband Jerry relocated here in 2015 to the Meridian area. They attended Spring City Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband: Jerry Norris; son: Kirk Norris of Dallas, Texas; brother: Stephen Gold of Spring Town, Texas; grandchildren: Stacy M. Norris, Matthew S. Norris, Jerry Norris, Lily Norris, and Luke Norris; and 8 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son: Christopher K. Norris; and brothers: Gene, Laroy, and Richard Gold.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, March 1, 2024, at 3 p.m. at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 until 3 p.m. before the service at the funeral home.
