Shawn Harding, age 57 of Jamestown, passed away on Wednesday July 22, 2026 at home.

He was the husband of Melissa and the father of Jake, Kayla, Jacklyn, and Elizabeth. He worked as a mechanic, but honestly we didn’t break anything he couldn’t fix. Grandbabies, family, camping, fishing, and Gunsmoke were some of the things he enjoyed.

Honestly, he wouldn’t want all the attention. He was the observer. He was rough around the edges and a bit stubborn, but loved wholeheartedly. He was always reaching for the next rung on the ladder and pushing us to do the same.

In accordance with his wishes, a private cremation will take place and no formal services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, make donations toward funeral services.
