Shelley Kay Flowers, 35
Mrs. Shelley Kay Flowers, of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025 at the U.K. Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky, having attained the age of 35 years, 4 months and 21 days. She was born on Sunday, September 17, 1989, in Glasgow, Kentucky, the daughter of Larry & Pam (Vibbert) Flowers. She was a Christian Lady and a member of Grace Union Baptist Church. She was a press operator for Kelvion, and a member of the Advocates for Recovery. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Georgie & Alma Flowers, maternal great-grandparents, Jeff & Macie Dyer, niece, Christian Vibbert, two angel babies, cousins, Katelyn Pitcock, and Winnie Pitcock.
She is survived by her parents, Larry & Pam (Vibbert) Flowers, children, Abagail Thacker, Isaiah Thacker, Elijah Daniels, siblings, Joshua (& Toshua) Vibbert, Nancy (& Clinton) Smith, all of Burkesville, Kentucky Shelby (& Johnny) Demmons of Albany, Kentucky, Tessa (& Terry) Spears of Burkesville, Kentucky, Misty Garrett of Livingston, Tennessee, Garon Garrett of Campbellsville, Kentucky, and a host of nieces and nephews.
The funeral service was conducted on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. noon, in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Todd Bryant, and Bro. Neal Owsley officiating. Burial was in the Modoc Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were Jeromy Hull, Braxton Vibbert, Cody Appleby, Troy Butler, Blake Bowlin, and Thomas Pennington. Honorary Casket Bearers were Terry Spears, Johnny Demmons, Triston Vibbert, Cody Garmon, and Dylan Wright.
