SHERIFF: “NO PERSON OF INTEREST” SO FAR IN 5-YEAR-OLD SUMMER WELLS CASE

Hawkins County Sheriff Ronnie Lawson has said so far there is no person of interest in the case of missing 5-year-old Summer Wells.
“Everybody remains a suspect now. Everything’s on the table, and our main focus is to find Summer and return her home,” said Sheriff Lawson.
Investigators in Hawkins County continue working every day with the TBI and the Federal Bureau of Investigation to follow up on each lead.
Lawson added social media speculations are being checked by law enforcement.
An Amber Alert for Wells was issued by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation back on June 16, 2021. That was the day after she was first reported missing in the Beech Creek community of Hawkins County.
