Sherry A. Cunningham 81 of Crossville, Tennessee died Friday, August 9, 2024, at her residence.

She was born on June 29, 1943, in Santa Ana, California to the late Albert and Thalia Lewis Mayo. Sherry attended school in California and married the late Bill Cunningham in 1961; eventually moving to Tennessee in 1965. She loved all crafts, including making afghans and crocheting. Sherry also enjoyed riding horses, swimming, playing the piano, and singing. She loved going to church and serving the Lord. Sherry was a warrior for Christ, despite her many years of illnesses. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Crossville.

Survivors include her daughters Carrie Wolfe and Linda Reagan and son Scott (Darlene) Cunningham all of Crossville, brother Stanley Mayo of Mesa, AZ, and sister Kathleen Crosby of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, grandchildren Leslie (Ryan) Looper of Cookeville, TN, Miranda (Tyler) Sims of Crossville, Jeremy (Holly) Wolfe of Lebanon, Tennessee and Kali Cunningham of Crossville, great grandchildren Rylan and Haylin Looper, Hayden and Brylee Sims Ryker and Ridge Wolfe, Alexis, Kylee and Raelee Chavis.

Funeral services will be Sunday, August 18, 2024, at 4 pm Eastern time in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Dwight Zimmerman and Rev. Phil Zimmerman officiating. Burial will follow in the Stebbins Cemetery in Grandview, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm Eastern time at Vaughn Funeral Home.
