Shirley Ann Kring, age 82 of Harriman, Tennessee, passed away Monday, December 15, 2025 at her home. Shirley dedicated her life to caring for her family. She always made birthdays feel special. Shirley would smile every time someone mentioned her spoiling her grandson, Jordan. She loved to quilt. Shirley had a servant’s heart.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Gladys Johnson; brother, Ralph “Buddy” Johnson; sister, Louise Trentham.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Oliver “Bud” Kring; sons, Scott (Angie) Kring and Bobby Kring; sister, Norma Tapp; grandson, Jordan (Christina Walden) Kring; special niece, Jessie Keener.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday, December 18, 2025 at the Kyker Funeral Home in Harriman, TN. Funeral will follow at 7:00 PM on Thursday with Pastor Jeff Parrott officiating. Burial will be 11:00 AM Friday, December 19, 2025 at Clax Gap Cemetery.
