SHIRLEY JEAN FIELDS age 64 of Crossville, TN passed away July 24, 2023. She was born July 8, 1959, in Rockwood, TN the daughter of Hollis and Delois Lee Foust. She was a graduate of Cumberland County High School and received her associate degree in criminal justice in 1998. Later in 2017 she received her bachelor’s degree from Austin Peay State University in professional studies, an accomplishment that she and her family were very proud of. She recently retired from the Tennessee Dept. of Corrections as an administrative assistant and had previously worked at North Cumberland Elementary as a school secretary. She had also served as a judicial commissioner with the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Dept. She enjoyed crafting and loved to travel, especially taking trips to Tunica and Las Vegas. She liked canning and thrift shopping, but one of life’s greatest treasures was the love she had for her family and her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband- Ronnie Fields of Crossville, TN, daughters- Tammy Michelle Lewis and her husband Derek of Crossville, TN and Rebecca Wynacht of Crossville, TN, sister- Tammy Davis and her husband Ted of Crossville, TN, grandchildren- Morgan Lewis, Madison Lewis, Jordan Kerley and Kolt Hedgecoth, special uncle- Gordon Claude Lee, special nieces- Christy Edmonds, Casey Reed and Tiffany Cockrell and special son- Chad Montgomery.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother- Nellie Lee, uncle- Johnny Lee and aunt- Wanda Morris.

Funeral services will be held Friday July 28, 2023, at 5pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2pm-5pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
