SNOWY SUNDAY LIKELY

We still have that winter storm watch hanging over us for Saturday night and Sunday for the potential of 5 to 8 inches of snow and the models continue to be very impressive to show the moisture and cold are getting together over our area. We expect rain to begin during the day Saturday with a high of 42 turning to snow Saturday night and Sunday. This one has the potential to really make the roads bad Sunday into Monday because the temperatures will drop into the 20s and only be in the 30s on Monday so it will be Tuesday before road conditions improve very much. I will be with you throughout the day on Saturday and especially Sunday to tell you about road conditions and keep you posted on radar and pass along any local breaking news.

The NFL playoffs begin Saturday with Buffalo and New England playing with temperatures in the single digits Saturday night. Las Vegas travels to Cincinnati where temperatures will be near freezing.
