STANTON MORRIS GUINN, AGE 66
Stanton Morris Guinn, age 66, of Crossville, passed away on April 14, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was a member of Plant Grow Harvest Church in Crossville. He retired from Tennessee Valley Authority with 31 years of service as an electrical technician. He was a registered Brangus cattleman for many years along with his father and son. Stan was a connoisseur of farming, hunting, fishing, and woodworking, but his greatest accomplishment was as husband, father, and granddad, as he was lovingly known. Stan always enjoyed spending endless time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Walter Morris Guinn, Jr. and Oneita Murray Guinn; brother: Steven Guinn; and grandparents: Walter and Alice Guinn and Clyde and Hazel Murray.
He is survived by his wife: Kathy Guinn; son and daughter-in-law: Paul Stanton Guinn and Courtney Ownby Guinn; step-daughters and husbands: Shawna and Brian Kirby and Sheena and Hutch Lee; grandchildren: Noah Steven Guinn, Mila Anne Guinn, Whitney Kirby, Carlie Lee, and Cambree Lee.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Cumberland County for their wonderful service and care. Also, a special thank you to our dear “Aunt Polly” for the help in caring for Stan over this difficult time.
Visitation and funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, from 4 until 6 p.m. (central) with the funeral service to follow at Bilbrey Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Crossville, located at 76 East Adams Street. Pastor Dale Braun will be officiating. There will be a graveside service on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 2 p.m. (eastern) at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Cleveland, Tennessee, located at 1700 South Ocoee Street.
