Funeral Services for Steve Norrod, age 56, of Monterey, Tennessee, will be conducted on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 12:00 PM from The Chapel of Goff Funeral Home. Bro. Richard Harris will officiate with interment to follow in the Welch Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Norrod was born on Tuesday, March 3, 1970, in Monterey, Tennessee, to the late Kenneth Vernon and Anna Kate Matheney Norrod. Mr. Norrod passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at his home. He was a heavy equipment operator working with Mid State Construction for 30 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of Columbia Hill Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Staggs Norrod; step sons, Josh (Ciara) Bowman of Cookeville, TN, Jeffrey (Bonnie) Bowman of Rickman, TN; step daughters, Emily Bowman of Cookeville, TN, Allison (BJ) Norris of Pall Mall, TN; 9 step grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Leslie Norrod of Monterey, TN; nephews, Spencer (Katelyn) Norrod of Monterey, TN, Payton Norrod of Monterey, TN; great nieces, Lennon, Ellie, and due in July, Anna; and best friend, Anthony Phillips.
