Sue Carolyn Fenwick Hall

Sue Carolyn Fenwick Hall, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt peacefully took her last breath early Saturday morning, August 12, 2023, surrounded by her three daughters.

She is survived by her three daughters; Debra (Don Ferguson), Karen Kerley (George Smith), and Cathy (Lou Gallo); daughter-in-law, Pat Hall;  13 grandchildren; Mark (Kerry Ferguson), Lara Diaz (Tom Bell), Christopher Ferguson (Ashlee), Paige (Jeff Mulvihill), Amy Lovin, Glenn (Valerie Hall), Bradley (Cari Hall), Jonathan Kerley (Amanda), Michael Kerley, Stacy (Casey Bond), Lorin (Edward Dannelly), Dylan (Emily Baylosis), Carolyn Baylosis; her brother, Bob (Phyllis Fenwick); and 19 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Sue Hall told her daughters that she had a good life, a long life, and a happy life.  She was incredibly supportive of her children’s activities, serving many times as a Sunday School teacher, Nursery Volunteer, Room Mother, Scout Leader, “taxi driver” and all-around cheerleader for her children and their friends.

Sue was active in her church activities at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in both Jackson, TN and Nashville, TN. Mrs. Hall was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Crossville, TN.

Sue and her husband enjoyed traveling and spending time together in the Great Smoky Mountains.  They treasured all the wonderful adventures they shared during their amazing 70 years together.

In her later years, Sue enjoyed family gatherings, visiting with her family, receiving FaceTime calls from her children and grandchildren and watching the many birds who visited her bird feeders.

Mrs. Hall’s life was a blessing to all of her family and anyone who knew her. She was the glue that held everyone together. She will be greatly missed by all.

The daughters of Sue and Bernard Hall wish to send special thanks to all who cared for their parents throughout their last years; our children and husbands, who loved and supported our parents, their doctors, home health workers, and finally, everyone at Gentiva Hospice, who provided such loving and faithful care to both of our parents in their final days.

The family will celebrate Mrs. Hall’s life with a private service officiated by Rev. Don Ferguson.
