SULLIVAN COUNTY JUDGE INCREASES MEGAN BOSWELL’S BOND

A Sullivan County, Tennessee judge increased the bond of 15-month-old Evelyn Boswells mother, Megan Boswell, from $25,000 to $150,000 in court this morning. Megan Boswell was charged with false reporting last month.

Authorities said the remains believed to be 15-month-old Evelyn Boswell were found on a family member’s property in Sullivan County on Friday evening. The remains have been sent for an autopsy.

Megan Boswell’s attorney said in court this morning Megan has no record to justify raising her bond. However, district attorney Barry Staubus indicated concern she might be a flight risk and put a sheriff’s investigator on the witness stand about her connections outside the area.
