SUMNER COUNTY MURDER SUSPECT ADDED TO TBI 10 MOST WANTED

(UPDATE) – Moore was found dead of a self inflicted gunshot wound Sunday, December 13, 2020 in a home in Gallatin.
(PREVIOUS STORY) – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation added a man wanted on two counts of first-degree murder in Sumner County on its 10 Most Wanted list this morning.
The sheriff’s office said 31-year-old Kevin Marc Moore, of Gallatin, is wanted for the deaths of a 31-year-old woman and her 9-year-old son.
Deputies were called to a home in Bethpage for a report of a shooting on Friday. Upon arrival, deputies located the boy and the woman with “obvious gunshot wounds.”
Moore “was a person known to the family of the deceased.”
Moore is on the run and “considered armed and dangerous.”
He is wanted for two counts of first-degree murder, especially aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary and possession of a firearm during a dangerous felony.
