Suzanne Dalton, of Stone Mountain, GA, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025, Born on September 12, 1948, in Harriman, TN, Suzanne’s life was a testament to the power of kindness and the joy of service to others.
Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents, James Carl Sullivan and Edna Mae Sullivan. She leaves behind a legacy of love for her devoted husband, Tom Dalton; her son, Brandon Dalton, his wife, Katie, and their two children; her sisters, Donna Hollingsworth and Carolyn Holland; and her brother, James “Sonny” Sullivan.
For many years, Suzanne dedicated herself to the nurturing of young children. Her time as a preschool teacher allowed her to touch countless lives with her innate warmth and compassion. She extended this passion to her church community, where she served as a Sunday school and choir teacher. Her commitment to her faith was evident in her actions and the way she lived her life every day.
Often, she could be found cheering on her beloved baseball & football teams. Her enthusiasm for the game was infectious, and many fond family memories were made rooting for her favorite team.
Suzanne Dalton lived a life rich in joy, love, and faith. As we say goodbye, we celebrate the remarkable woman she was and take comfort in the knowledge that her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she loved.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, September 29, 2025, at the Kyker Funeral Home in Harriman with a graveside service to follow in Willard Park Cemetery.
