Terry Lynn Lawson, 66

Terry Lynn Lawson, 66, of Kingston, TN, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2024. He lived a life full of love, wisdom, generosity, and spoiling grandkids.

Terry was a devoted Husband/Dad/Papaw/Great Papaw. He could fix anything and would drop everything to go help someone in need. A man of strong values, Terry was passionate about his family and was a source of guidance, inspiration, and unconditional love to all who knew him. His crazy stories, wisdom, and laughter (especially the wheezing) will be deeply missed. If you asked his grandkids, they would tell you he would always say yes to the next adventure whether it be making homemade bike ramps that he had to try first and landed in the side of his camper, going off roading in his truck and getting stuck in the mud, going camping and teaching survival skills, teaching them to drive a forklift, making a homemade see saw on couch, teaching them gun safety and how to hunt, teaching how to airbrush, or just getting into any type of mischief.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Martha Lawson (Harriman, TN) and sister Deborah Booth (Harriman, TN).

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Karen Lawson.
Daughters- Becky Curry (Tom) of Kingston and Dana Lawson (Josh Lyons) of Commerce, Oklahoma.
Grandchildren- Tony Curry (Ashton) of Kingston, James Curry of Kingston, and Christa Lawson of Kingston
