Thelma Jean Davis of Oliver Springs, TN went home to be with the Lord on January 5, 2026. She was born in Coalfield, TN on January 14, 1939. She was the daughter of Tolbert (Tib) and Lee Omie Jarnigan. She was married to Harol C. Davis for over 50 years until his death in June of 2014. She is preceded in death by her brother Marlon Ralph Jarnigan and her parents.

She leaves behind husband Albert Manning of Chattanooga, TN, two daughters Trudy Crowe and husband Phillip of Chattanooga, TN, Kimberly Kirk and Gary of Chattanooga, TN, three grandsons Justin Davis and wife Melissa, Jonathan Crowe and wife Hawi and Matthew Erwin. Granddaughter Alyssia Crowe, two great granddaughters Caitlin Hildrew and Brooklyn Hildrew of South Carolina.

Nieces: Theresa Webster and Carl, Michelle Woods and Chuck, nephews: Gary Lowe and Debbie, Marlon Steve Jarnigan and Sarah, Randy Jarnigan and Jill. Several great nieces and nephews along with special cousins Brenda Brown, Heather Sheldon and Morgan, friends Melba and Ed Tuell.

She attended church at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church in Oliver Springs where she was a member and where she had many friends. Her hobbies were gardening, canning, growing flowers and cooking big meals for her family – which she loved so very much. She loved to sing in the church choir. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the apple of her eye. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs, TN. The Funeral will be held at Sharp Funeral Home on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Garvin Walls officiating. A procession to Mount Pisgah Baptist Cemetery for burial following the funeral service.
