THIRD CORONAVIRUS-RELATED DEATH IN TENNESSEE IS HAMILTON COUNTY RESIDENT

A Hamilton County resident has died after being diagnosed with COVID-19. Officials say the person was over 65-years-old with underlying illness and died in a local hospital.” The Chattanooga-Hamilton County Health Department reported 11 new cases of the novel coronavirus yesterday, bringing the total of confirmed cases in the county to 26.

Two other people have died of coronavirus in the state. Davidson County resident, 73-year-old Pete Meenen passed away Friday, while 56-year-old Ron Golden of Goodlettsville died Saturday. Golden was recently diagnosed with cancer.
