Thomas Hart, 79

October 13th, 2025, we had to bid farewell to a soul that brought joy and inspiration to many lives, Thomas Hart. Born on July 19, 1946 in Morrilton, AR, USA. Raised in Michigan and after college, Tom served honorably in the Army in Viet Nam, ultimately receiving the purple heart and silver star. In Michigan he was an avid boater, snowmobiler and in younger years a snow skier. Tom later came to reside in Crossville, Tennessee where he left an indelible mark on everyone he met. Tom had an illustrious career as an Automotive Executive in the Automobile/Parts industry, a profession he was dedicated to and was immensely proud of. Despite his demanding career, he always found time for golf. Tom not only enjoyed playing the sport but also worked part-time at one of the Fairfield Glade Golf Courses. His commitment to his work and his love for golf were reflected in his favorite quote, “The only way to do great work is to love what you do.” – Steve Jobs. Tom’s loving spirit and infectious energy are carried forward by his beloved wife, Leanna Hart, their son, Shaun Hatfield, and his cherished grandchildren, Tyler, Keaton, and Neveah Hatfield. He is also survived by his brother Steven (Priscilla) Hart, sisters Judy (Kevin) Versakas and Sharon Logan, sister-in-law Gail Scott, brother-in-law Carl (Jackie) Richmond, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Tom’s life was enriched by the love and support of his family, friends and wonderful neighbors. He was preceded in death by his parents, TL and Gloria Hart, and his sister, Linda Allgood. Tom’s life was indeed a testament to his belief in hard work and dedication, but it was his bright personality and engaging smile that touched everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He had the ability to connect with people, to make them feel valued. We invite friends, family, and others whose lives Tom touched, to leave memories and upload photos to the memorial page. As we navigate through this time of loss, these shared moments of joy, laughter, and love will help us remember not just that Tom died, but that he lived a full life and that his life gave us many wonderful, long lasting memories. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation in his memory.
