Thomas Dale White
August 6, 1960 – September 8, 2026

Thomas “Tommy” Dale White, 66, passed away on September 8, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Tommy lived a life filled with faith, family, hard work, and laughter. He was the family jokester, always ready with a prank, a joke, or something to make those around him smile.

After high school, Tommy served in the United States Navy. He later worked in law enforcement and security, including FFG Security, before spending 23 years at Lowe’s. After retiring, he quickly discovered retirement wasn’t for him and went back to work in the produce department at Food City.

One of the family’s favorite stories is how Tommy met his wife, Felicia. While working as a police officer, he tried to pull her over—and she outran him! A couple of nights later, he spotted her parked in town, pulled in to talk to her, and the rest became their love story.

Tommy loved attending Crossville First Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed camping, sitting around a campfire, ’80s music, and watching Star Trek, Emergency!, Adam-12, Gunsmoke, and Perry Mason. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and grandkids.

Tommy is survived by his beloved wife, Felicia; daughter, Keshia (and her husband, Justin;) grandchildren, Ilyssa (and her husband, Seth), Parker, and Asher; sister-in-law, Judy White; and niece and nephew-in-laws, Kim and Stephen Smith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Beulah White; brothers, Bobby White and Charles White; and grandparents, Arthur and Susan White, and Roy Lampkin and Birdie Dunsmore Lampkin.

Tommy leaves behind countless memories, stories, jokes, and laughter that his family will carry with them forever.

He will forever be Felicia’s husband, Keshia’s Dad, Ilyssa’s G-pa, Parker’s “sweet little Papaw,” and Asher’s “Chocolate River.”
