Mr. Thomas Wilfred Emery of Albany, Kentucky passed away peacefully on Monday, August 4th, 2025, at his residence in Clinton County, Kentucky, having attained the age of 81 years, 2 months, and 2 days. He was born on Friday, June 2, 1944, in Alexandria, Virginia, the son of Charles & Lucile (LaShombe) Emery. Thomas proudly served in the United States Navy, where he built a distinguished career as a Chief Petty Officer before retiring. A man of strong Christian faith, he was known for witnessing to everyone and carried his Bible with him wherever he went. In his younger years, he loved to fish and always had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He enjoyed traveling with his beloved wife and was an avid fan of UK basketball. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann (Sloan) Emery, whom he wed on Saturday, July 7, 1984, brothers, Timothy Emery, Charles Emery, and sister, Mary Emery.

He is survived by his sisters, Patricia Emery, Teresa (& John) Mills, sisters-in-law, Theresa Emery, Roberta Pruett, Wanda Bouslog, Margaret (& Stephen) Campbell, nieces & nephews, Jody Emery, Robert Emery, Paul Emery, Jeffrey Emery, Theresa Emery, and Daniel Emery, other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations appreciated to the Missions Fund c/o Highway Church of the Nazarene, 959 State Hwy 1351, Albany, KY 42602.
