According to the official Cumberland County Government Facebook page, reroofing on the Cumberland County Courthouse will begin on Monday, August, 19, causing a portion of Thurman Ave. to be blocked.

The courthouse will still be open, though the courthouse elevator is and will continue to be out of order for an extended period of time.

Trey Kerley of the Cumberland County Register of Deeds apologizes in advance for the inconvenience but said citizens are free to contact his office for assistance at 931-484-5559 8 am-4 pm Monday through Friday.
