Timothy Lynn Kilgore, age 67, of Crossville, TN, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026, in Willow Branch Health & Rehabilitation in McMinnville, TN. Tim was born on September 24, 1958, in Crossville, TN. Tim’s parents were Larry and Peggy Evans. Tim graduated from Cumberland County High School in 1978; he achieved the honorable rank of Eagle Scout. Tim worked as a carpenter and an expert ceramic tile installer. Tim was a man of simple pleasures, enjoyed the outdoors, and anyone who knew Tim knew he loved a good, cold glass (or gallon) of milk with some Hershey’s chocolate. Tim was of the Baptist faith, affiliated with Oaklawn Baptist Church in Crossville, TN, where he served in various ways. Tim is survived by his loving mother Peggy Sue Evans of Crossville, sisters Sandra Faye Kilgore and Lisa Pearl Evans of Crossville, nephew Christopher J. Davis (Stephanie), nieces Caitlin S. Lawson (Josh) and Stacie D. Cox (Hayden), great nieces and nephews Joseph Brannum (Summer), Delyn Brannum, Adesina S. Davis (Brayden), Jace Lawson, Logan D. Cox, Dutton W. Cox, Lena L. Lawson, and his lifelong best friend, Tony Jones. Tim was loved by many family members and friends. Tim was preceded in death by his father, Larry Seward Evans; his brother, Larry Wayne Evans; and his grandparents, Arthur O. and Christine R. Kilgore, and Kelly H. and Nota M. Flowers. A Celebration of Tim’s life will be held Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Oaklawn Baptist Church, 3977 Hwy 70, Crossville, from 12:00 – 2:00 cst. Tim will be laid to rest in a private service at Mayland Cemetery.
