TITANS AGREE TO TERMS TO GET FALCONS WIDE RECEIVER JULIO JONES

The Tennessee Titans agreed to terms to acquire wide receiver 32-year-old Julio Jones from the Atlanta Falcons. The Titans would trade their 2022 second-round pick and a fourth-round pick in 2023 to Atlanta in exchange for Jones and a sixth round pick in 2023.

Jones is the Falcons’ career leader in catches (848) and yards (12,896) and is second to Roddy White in touchdown receptions (63). His 95.5 receiving yards per game is the best per-game average in NFL history.

Jones will join Titans star wide receiver A.J. Brown and All-Pro running back Derrick Henry to form one of the league’s most potent offenses.

Last season, Jones was limited to nine games due to injuries. He hauled in 51 receptions for 771 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Jones, a seven-time Pro Bowler, led the league in receiving in 2015 and 2018.

The terms of the trade are pending Jones passing a physical.
