A tornado watch has been issued for the Cumberland plateau and East Tennessee until 1 a.m. A line of thunderstorms is moving across Middle Tennessee and could produce severe weather. Once this line moves through the threat of storms will be over for the night and a sunny day is coming for Friday. Showers and thunderstorms are possible again Saturday and Saturday night and a few of those could also be severe. There have been a few reports of tornadoes in Middle Tennessee near the Nashville area tonight but the line looks like it could be weakening except for one cell that has been moving through Murfreesboro. I will be on the radio keeping you updated if needed. I will tell you this line has weakened over the past couple of hours but we cannot let our guard down yet
