TOSTITOS TORTILLA CHIPS RECALLED DUE TO UNDECLARED MILK

Frito-Lay has issued a recall for fewer than 1,300 13-ounce bags of Tostitos Cantina Traditional Yellow Corn Tortilla Chips due to the potential presence of undeclared milk. The affected bags may contain nacho cheese-flavored chips, which include milk as an ingredient, posing a risk of serious allergic reactions for individuals with milk allergies or severe sensitivities.
No allergic reactions have been reported so far. The recalled bags were distributed to retailers in 13 states—Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia—and were available for purchase starting March 7, with a “guaranteed fresh” date of May 20.
Consumers with milk allergies are advised to discard the product immediately. Frito-Lay, a PepsiCo division based in Plano, Texas, is overseeing the recall.
