A tractor-trailer accident in eastern Putnam County this morning resulted in a traffic backup for a few hours. The Tennessee Highway Patrol says a 2019 Volvo tractor trailer operated by 62-year-old Guk Kwang Lee was traveling east at the 303 mile marker near Monterey when he left the road in a curve. The tractor-trailer took out numerous feet of cable barriers before coming to rest in the median. Lee and a passenger in the cab, 47-year-old Mingshu Jin of Irvine, California, escaped injury in the accident.
