A tractor-trailer driver recently escaped injury following a vehicle accident at the 364 mile marker of I-40 in Loudon County. The highway patrol says a 2009 Peterbilt operated by 59-year-old Robert Asher of Arjay, Kentucky was traveling east when he ran off the road into the median and it turned on its drivers side. Asher was restrained at the time of the crash. Traffic was slow in the area for a few hours as a result.
