The Morgan County Sheriff’s Department recovered 16 firearms and more than $2,000 in cash while serving a search warrant in the Crab Orchard community near Oakdale this week. The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office told 105.7 News 48-year-old Kenneth Edward Howard is charged with possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and two counts of possession of drugs for resale. Officers took 19-year-old Christina Elsie Howard into custody for possession of drugs for resale. Both were taken to the Morgan County jail.
