A two-vehicle accident yesterday in Wayne County, Kentucky injured two. Officers say a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze driven by 61-year-old Catherine Brown of Muncie, Indiana, attempted to turn from Kentucky 90 onto South Main Street in Monticello and pulled into the path of a 2011 Harley-Davidson motorcycle operated by 61-year-old James T. Cook of Burkesville. The impact resulted in Cook and his passenger, 44-year-old Sandra Johnson of Burkesville, being thrown from the motorcycle onto the pavement. Cook and Johnson were airlifted to the University of Kentucky Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Authorities say neither was wearing a helmet. No one in the vehicle was reported injured.
