TWO INJURED IN THREE VEHICLE ACCIDENT ON HIGHWAY 127 IN FENTRESS COUNTY

A multi-vehicle accident on Highway 127 in Fentress County yesterday resulted in two hurt. Officers say 38-year-old Ben Jenkins of Clarkrange was heading northbound when he rear-ended a vehicle driven by 44-year-old David Smith of Jamestown. Smith was stopped waiting on another car to make a turn. The impact resulted in Jenkins’ vehicle overturning. Smith’s vehicle overturned and struck a Dodge pickup. Both Smith and Jenkins were transported to Cookeville Regional Medical Center. The driver of the truck was not hurt.
